«Εκατομμύρια παιδιά έχουν εμβολιαστεί σε όλο τον κόσμο», όπως είπε ο παιδίατρος Σπύρος Μαζάνης που κατέστησε σαφές μιλώντας στην «Κοινωνία Ώρα MEGA», ότι τα εμβόλια είναι ασφαλή και για τα παιδιά 12-15 ετών.

Μπορεί οι εμβολιασμοί να έχουν προχωρήσει σε ένα ποσοστό κοντά στο 50% και να μην είμαστε στην ίδια κατάσταση με πέρυσι, όμως το γεγονός ότι ο κοροναϊός συνεχίζει να «πολιορκεί» τη χώρα δημιουργεί ανησυχία για το νέο σχολικό έτος.

Οι ρυθμοί στους εμβολιασμούς της συγκεκριμένης ηλικιακής ομάδας δεν προχωρά με ταχείς ρυθμούς, ωστόσο ο παιδίατρος Σπύρος Μαζάνης εμφανίστηκε καθυσηχαστικός, δεδομένου ότι η πλατφόρμα άνοιξε γι αυτές τις ηλικίες τέλη Ιουλίου, μεσολάβησαν και οι καλοκαιρινές διακοπές, αλλά «πιστεύω ότι η διάθεση υπάρχει, το 74% των γενικών εμβολιασμών γίνεται στα παιδιατρία, άρα οι γονείς ρωτάνε τους παιδιάτρους αν θα πρέπει να κάνουν το εμβόλιο ή όχι τα παιδιά τους. Έχουν εμβολιαστεί 50.000 έφηβοι».

«Μπορούμε να εμβολιάσουμε όλους τους εφήβους με ένα σωστό προγραμματισμό. Να ξεκινήσουν οι γονείς να κλείνουν τα ραντεβού. Ακόμα και τώρα να το αποφασίσουν, χρόνος υπάρχει», τόνισε.

«Η έγκριση στην Ελλάδα πάρθηκε μέσα στον Ιούλιο, όμως από αρχές Μάη έχει δοθεί έγκριση από τον ευρωπαϊκό και αμερικανικό οργανισμό φαρμάκων. Οι εμβολιασμοί στις ΗΠΑ, έχουν ξεπεράσει τα 10 εκατ. τα παιδιά από 12-17, στην Ιταλία είναι 2 εκατ. Υπάρχει η εμπειρία. Το εμβόλιο είναι ένα από τα ασφαλέστερα εμβόλια που έχουμε. Είναι αποτελεσματικό. Και βεβαίως πρέπει να εμβολιαστούν τα παιδιά, γιατί και νοσούν και μεταδίδουν», σημείωσε.

«Υπάρχουν παιδιά που έχουν νοσηλευτεί, που έχουν διασωληνωθεί και έχουν χάσει τη ζωή τους. Στις ΗΠΑ είναι πάνω από 350, στην Ιταλία 50. Τα παιδιά που νοσούν με κλινικά συμπτώματα ακόμα και ασυμπτωματικά μπορεί να εμφανίσουν το post covid σύνδρομο που βασανίζει τα παιδιά για πολύ καιρό. Συνήθως πλήττεται ο εγκέφαλος και έχουμε νευρολογικά προβλήματα», υπογράμμισε και τόνισε πως δεν γνωρίζουμε τι «κουσούρι» αφήνει ο κοροναϊός.

«Η πρώτη δόση δίνει κάλυψη 30-33% του παιδιού και μέσα σε 21 ημέρες θα φτάσει με τη δεύτερη δόση μεγάλο ποσοστό κάλυψης. Να αρχίσουμε να εμβολιάζουμε τα παιδιά χθες. Οι γονείς να ρωτήσουν τους προσωπικούς τους παιδιάτρους. Το εμβόλιο είναι το τελειότερο εμβόλιο που έχει φτιαχτει ως τώρα (το Pfizer και το Moderna). Το εμβόλιο δίνει μια πληροφορία και μετά από λίγα λεπτά εξαφανίζεται. Είναι τόσο απλό, όσο αν πήγαινε το αυτοκίνητο με παλιά τεχνολογίας βενζίνη και τώρα έχετε ένα ηλεκτρικό αυτοκίνητο. Έχει γίνει μια τεράστια ανακάλυψη στην επιστήμη. Δεν μπαίνει όλο το μικρόβιο στον οργανισμό», σημείωσε κλείνοντας ερωτηθείς για τα μακροπρόθεσμα συμπτώματα του εμβολιασμού.
