Greek President, PM, Officials To Get COVID-19 Vaccines on Sunday

In a symbolic gesture, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, will be among the first individuals to get the COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday.

Sakellaropoulou is not the only one to be vaccinated on December 27, though, as Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Speaker of the House Constantinos Tasoulas, General Constantinos Floros, the leader of the MERA-25 Party Yianis Varoufakis, and other officials will also get the vaccine on Sunday.

Their goal is to send a message to the Greek public that vaccines are safe, and they are the only way of getting through this terrible pandemic.

Also, ICU nurse Efstathia Kambisiouli, care-home resident Michael Giovanidis, and Professor of Pathology and Infectious Diseases Sotiris Tsiodras will be among the first ones to get the vaccine.

In the meantime, Greece received the first batch of Pfizer’s Coronavirus vaccines on Christmas Day.

The first 9,750 doses of the Pfizer-BioΝTech coronavirus vaccine against Covid-19 arrived in Greece under tight security measures.

Μουσακάς με κολοκύθια και πουρέ πατάτας

Εκτέλεση Τσιγαρίζετε στο ελαιόλαδο το ψιλοκομμένο κρεμμύδι, προσθέτετε τον κιμά, αλάτι, πιπέρι, την τομάτα, ένα φλιτζάνι τσαγιού νερό και σιγοβράζετε μέχρι να ψηθεί ο κιμάς. Κόβετε τα κολοκύθια σε ψιλές φέτες, τα αλευρώνετε και τα τηγανίζετε. Ετοιμάζετε τον πουρέ, σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες του κουτιού, χρησιμοποιώντας όμως μόνο γάλα. Στη συνέχεια προσθέτετε το βούτυρο, την κρέμα γάλακτος και ανακατεύετε καλά. Greek, Armenian Genocide Recognized by the Netherlands
