Greece Makes Mask-Wearing Compulsory in Additional Indoor Places

Greek authorities announced on Tuesday that mask-wearing will be made compulsory in more indoor public spaces to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

The government made the decision after a small flare-up of infections in the second half of this month, the Civil Protection Ministry said.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has warned Greek citizens that the danger of COVID-19 is not over yet.

“We dealt with the first wave of the pandemic, but the danger still looms large,” he said in a tweet on Monday.

Masks are compulsory beginning on Wednesday in the following:

Grocery stores
Retail stores
Hairdressers, beauty salons
Public transport
Taxis
Supermarkets
Public Utility offices
Banks
Medical practices
Elevators

Greece has managed to contain the spread of infections to 4,227 confirmed cases and 202 deaths after imposing an early lockdown.

At the current time, a total of nine patients in Greece, with an average age of 58, remain intubated in ICUs across the country.

Εκτέλεση Τσιγαρίζετε στο ελαιόλαδο το ψιλοκομμένο κρεμμύδι, προσθέτετε τον κιμά, αλάτι, πιπέρι, την τομάτα, ένα φλιτζάνι τσαγιού νερό και σιγοβράζετε μέχρι να ψηθεί ο κιμάς. Κόβετε τα κολοκύθια σε ψιλές φέτες, τα αλευρώνετε και τα τηγανίζετε. Ετοιμάζετε τον πουρέ, σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες του κουτιού, χρησιμοποιώντας όμως μόνο γάλα. Στη συνέχεια προσθέτετε το βούτυρο, την κρέμα γάλακτος και ανακατεύετε καλά. Greek, Armenian Genocide Recognized by the Netherlands
