ΗΠΑ : "Μην ταξιδεύετε στην Τουρκία"

Mια απίστευτη ταξιδιωτική οδηγία εξεδόθη πριν από λίγες ώρες από το αμερικανικό State Department με την οποία καλούνται οι Αμερικανοί πολίτες να μην ταξιδεύουν στην Τουρκία για τρεις βασικούς λόγους.

Ο πρώτος λόγος αφορά στην τεράστια διασπορά του κορωνοϊού , που καθιστά την Τουρκία μια εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνη χώρα με αυξημένο κίνδυνο επιμόλυνσης από τον ιό.

Ο δεύτερος λόγος αφορά στις επαρχίες που βρίσκονται κοντά στα σύνορα με τη Συρία, στις οποίες υπάρχει μεγάλη δραστηριότητα τρομοκρατικών ομάδων και ένοπλων συλλογικοτήτων που καθιστούν πολύ επικίνδυνη την παρουσία αμερικανών πολιτών.

Ο τρίτος όμως λόγος , τον οποίο επικαλείται το επίσημο έγγραφο του State Department, αποτελεί πρωτοφανή εξέλιξη για τις αμερικανο- τουρκικές σχέσεις.

Το αμερικανικό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών προειδοποιεί τους Αμερικανούς πολίτες πως στην Τουρκία έχουν συλληφθεί δεκάδες χιλιάδες άτομα με την κατηγορία πως ανήκουν σε τρομοκρατικές ομάδες και με στοιχεία που παραπέμπουν μόνο σε πολιτική σκοπιμότητα.

Μεταξύ των ατόμων αυτών, έχουν συλληφθεί και Αμερικανοί πολίτες οι οποίοι κρατούνται χωρίς να έχουν το δικαίωμα να επιστρέψουν στις ΗΠΑ. Γι’ αυτούς τους λόγους οι Αμερικανοί πολίτες κινδυνεύουν να συλληφθούν ανά πάσα στιγμή.

Είναι η πρώτη φορά που στο πλαίσιο μιας ταξιδιωτικής οδηγίας, που αφορά ένα γενικό πλαίσιο για την Τουρκία, με αναφορές στην πανδημία και στην έκρυθμη κατάσταση που επικρατεί στη συνοριακή ζώνη με τη Συρία, αναφέρεται ως βασικός λόγος για την αποφυγή μετάβασης αμερικανών πολιτών στη χώρα αυτή, ο κίνδυνος να συλληφθούν με κατασκευασμένες κατηγορίες για σχέση με την τρομοκρατία, κατηγορίες οι οποίες παραπέμπουν σε πολιτική σκοπιμότητα.

Λίγα 24ωρα πριν από την αναμενόμενη καταδίκη της Τουρκίας, για τη Γενοκτονία των Αρμενίων, στο ανώτατο δυνατό επίπεδο από τις ΗΠΑ με την προσωπική υπογραφή του προέδρου Τζο Μπάιντεν, η ταξιδιωτική αυτή οδηγία προσλαμβάνει ιδιαίτερη πολιτική σημασία και έτσι αντιμετωπίζεται από τα τουρκικά Μέσα Ενημέρωσης, τα οποία την Τετάρτη το βράδυ ήταν απολύτως αιφνιδιασμένα από την παρέμβαση αυτή του State Department. Είναι άγνωστο το πώς θα αντιδράσει η Άγκυρα, δεδομένου πως μια τέτοια αναφορά με αυτούς τους όρους και αυτή την φρασεολογία σε επίσημο κείμενου του αμερικανικού υπουργείου Εξωτερικών αποτελεί, θέλουμε δεν θέλουμε, διπλωματικό casus belli.
