Στέλλα – Ηρώ Λεδάκη: «Χείμαρρος» η πρώην πρωταθλήτρια του επί κοντώ – «Γι’ αυτό σταμάτησα τον αθλητισμό»

Για υποτιμητικές συμπεριφορές από παράγοντες και αξεπέραστα εμπόδια από επιτελικούς προπονητές μίλησε η μεσογειονίκης του 2013

Η Σοφία Μπεκατώρου, με την συγκλονιστική καταγγελία της, έκανε την αρχή. Η απόφασή της να δημοσιοποιήσει την φρικτή εμπειρία της, άνοιξε τον δρόμο για να μιλήσουν και άλλες αθλήτριες, οι οποίες βίωσαν τρομακτικές καταστάσεις. Η μία μαρτυρία διαδέχεται την άλλη με την ελληνική κοινωνία να παρακολουθεί σοκαρισμένη τα όσα γίνονται γνωστά καθημερινά. Σχεδόν όλοι, πλέον, στέκονται στο τι συνέβη, ποιος είναι ο θύτης, γιατί έφθασε στις αχαρακτήριστες πράξεις του και όχι στο πότε συνέβη.

Το ξέσπασμα της Μπεκατώρου, λοιπόν, οδήγησε και άλλες αθλήτριες να μιλήσουν για τις δικές τους – κακές – εμπειρίες στον αθλητισμό. Μία από αυτές τις αθλήτριες είναι η Στέλλα – Ηρώ Λεδάκη, πρώην πρωταθλήτρια του άλματος επί κοντώ, μεσογειονίκης το 2013 στην Τουρκία και με συμμετοχή στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Λονδίνου το 2012 (κατετάγη13η). Ψυχολόγος, πλέον, αποχώρησε από την ενεργό δράση πριν από περίπου δύο χρόνια. «Δεν θέλω τα νέα παιδιά, που ασχολούνται με τον στίβο, να έχουν την ίδια αντιμετώπιση με αυτή που είχα εγώ. Αυτός είναι και ο λόγος που πήρα την απόφαση να μιλήσω», δήλωσε η Λεδάκη στο sports3.gr., απαντώντας στο τι την οδήγησε να μιλήσει για συμπεριφορές, πρακτικές και τακτικές που έμειναν βαθιά χαραγμένες στη μνήμη της και την οδήγησαν στην αποχώρησή της από την ενεργό δράση.

Η δική της περίπτωση, λοιπόν, έχει να κάνει με εμπόδια που συνάντησε κατά τη διάρκεια της καριέρα της, τα οποία σύμφωνα με την ίδια, προήλθαν από παράγοντες, με πολλά χρόνια παρουσίας στον ΣΕΓΑΣ. «Αντιμετώπισα πολλά προβλήματα. Ακόμα θυμάμαι ότι στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Λονδίνου πήγα χωρίς τα δικά μου κοντάρια για να αγωνιστώ. Όταν ρώτησα γιατί συνέβη αυτό, μου είχαν απαντήσει ότι δεν περίμεναν ότι θα έκανα το όριο πρόκρισης για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες, επίδοση που παρεμπιπτόντως είχα κάνει από το 2011. Εκτός αποστολής είχε μείνει και ο τότε προπονητής μου, με την αιτιολογία ότι ήταν Κύπριος. Στην ομοσπονδία είχαν δοθεί χρήματα από την ΕΟΕ για προετοιμασία αθλητών. Τα διαχειρίστηκαν όπως ήθελαν. Όταν ρώτησα για το ποσό που αφορούσε εμένα, μου είπαν όταν τα χρήματα είχαν καταναλωθεί. Συνέχισα να προσπαθώ για να γίνω καλύτερη. Το 2014 τραυματίστηκα. Για την αποθεραπεία μου πήγα στην Γερμανία, σε γιατρό της Μπάγερν. Για να γίνει αυτό, όμως, πλήρωσα από την τσέπη μου τα μισά χρήματα, αν και ήμουν αθλήτρια της εθνικής ομάδας. Συνήλθα. Μετά τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες, είχα το όριο για να πάρω μέρος στους Πανευρωπαϊκούς. Δεν πήγα ποτέ. Ήταν σαν τιμωρία, μου είχαν πει. Έμεινα να κοιτάζω με απορία. Ήταν η εποχή που για δικούς τους λόγους ήθελαν να φύγω από τους ξενώνες του ΟΑΚΑ. Ακόμα και τα κοντάρια για το επί κοντώ τα πλήρωνα με δικά μου χρήματα. Από την δουλειά που έκανα τότε για να έχω και τη δυνατότητα να γυμνάζομαι. Μόνο μία φορά πλήρωσε ο ΣΕΓΑΣ για την αγορά κονταριών».

Και η Στέλλα Λεδάκη συνέχισε: «Ήξερα ότι ο αθλητής είναι πρότυπο. Εγώ, ωστόσο, βίωσα υποτιμητικές συμπεριφορές από ανθρώπους που είναι στις ίδιες θέσεις για πολλά χρόνια. Αυτό με θυμώνει. Ειδικά όταν δεν πήγα στους Πανευρωπαϊκούς, αν και είχα το όριο, ήταν για μένα “χαστούκι”. Δεν θέλω τα νέα παιδιά να αντιμετωπίζουν τις ίδιες πρακτικές και γι’ αυτό μιλάω. Προσωπικά, όμως, και υπό αυτές τις συνθήκες, δεν ξέρω αν θα άφηνα τα παιδιά μου να ασχοληθούν με τον πρωταθλητισμό».

«Χείμαρρος» η πρώην πρωταθλήτρια του επί κοντώ, πρόσθεσε: «Τα πάντα καταγράφονται μέσα σου. Επέρχεται η εξισορρόπηση, αλλά τίποτα δεν σβήνεται. Δέχεσαι στην καθημερινότητά σου καταστάσεις που δεν συμβαδίζουν με τις αρχές σου. Τις παρουσιάζουν ως συμβατές με την ηθική σου και τα πιστεύω σου. Δεν είναι, όμως. Είναι θέμα χρόνου, λοιπόν, να γίνει η πυροδότηση. Το ξέσπασμα. Λες τα όσα έχεις βιώσει και επανέρχεσαι στις αρχές σου. Γι’ αυτό όποιος θέλει να πει κάτι, να καταγγείλει πρόσωπα και καταστάσεις, πρέπει να το κάνει, όσο καιρός και αν έχει περάσει. Ότι σε ενοχλεί πρέπει να το πεις για να μην αλλάξει η εικόνα που εσύ θέλεις για τη ζωή σου, να μην αλλάξουν μέσα σου οι αρχές που πρεσβεύεις. Με την πυροδότηση μέσα σου αποκαθίσταται και η τάξη, λέγοντας όλα όσα σε ενόχλησαν και κρύβονταν στο υποσυνείδητό σου. Ο χρόνος που θα γίνει αυτό, δεν έχει και τόσο σημασία. Γι’ αυτό και εγώ αποφάσισα να μιλήσω τώρα…».

Με 4μ.50 (2013) η Στέλλα Λεδάκη είναι κάτοχος της πέμπτης καλύτερης επίδοσης όλων των εποχών στη χώρα μας στο άλμα επί κοντώ. Αποχώρησε από τον στίβο, απογοητευμένη. Στα 32 της χρόνια συνεργάζεται, ως ψυχολόγος, με μία μεγάλη εταιρία αθλητικών ειδών, κοιτάζει τους πάντες κατάματα και δεν λειαίνει τις γωνίες των όσων υποστηρίζει ότι βίωσε ως πρωταθλήτρια του στίβου.
