Μητσοτάκης: Συναντήθηκε με πολίτες που έχουν βγει νικητές στον αγώνα με τα ναρκωτικά

Με επτά πολίτες οι οποίοι έχουν βγει νικητές στον αγώνα με τα ναρκωτικά συναντήθηκε το απόγευμα της Παρασκευής, στο Μέγαρο Μαξίμου, ο Πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης, με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα κατά της χρήσης ναρκωτικών ουσιών και της παράνομης διακίνησής τους.

Η συζήτηση, η οποία έγινε σε προσωπικό τόνο, περιστράφηκε γύρω από τις δοκιμασίες που βίωσαν οι πρώην χρήστες κατά την απεξάρτησή τους και τις διακρίσεις που κάποιοι αντιμετώπισαν στο στάδιο της επανένταξής τους στην κοινωνία.

Πολλοί από τους συμμετέχοντες ανέφεραν ότι ακόμα υπάρχει ένα «στίγμα» που «σημαδεύει» όσους έχουν εξαρτηθεί από τα ναρκωτικά. Ο Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης υπογράμμισε ότι η συζήτηση έχει και δημόσιο χαρακτήρα ακριβώς ώστε να «σπάσουν οι τοίχοι» της προκατάληψης, επισημαίνοντας ότι στόχος του κοινωνικού κράτους είναι να βοηθά τους πιο ευάλωτους. «Δεν υπάρχει προκατάληψη, σε αυτό το γραφείο μπαίνουν όλοι και είμαστε ανοιχτοί σε όλους, πόσω μάλλον σε αυτούς οι οποίοι αντιμετωπίζουν μεγαλύτερες δυσκολίες», είπε.

Ο Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης ρώτησε τους συνομιλητές του, με βάση τις εμπειρίες τους, ποιες πρωτοβουλίες θα μπορούσαν να αναληφθούν ώστε να βελτιωθεί η πρόληψη, να αυξηθεί η συνδρομή του κράτους στην απεξάρτηση τοξικοεξαρτημένων και να ενισχυθούν τα προγράμματα επαγγελματικής αποκατάστασής τους.

Όσον αφορά την αναζήτηση εργασίας, σημειώθηκε ότι κάποιοι εργοδότες διστάζουν να προσλάβουν πρώην εξαρτημένους, άλλοι αναγνωρίζουν τον αγώνα που δίνουν όσοι έχουν ενταχθεί σε πρόγραμμα απεξάρτησης, ενώ κάποια προγράμματα ούτως ή άλλως στηρίζουν την εργασία ή την κατάρτιση. Τονίστηκε η σημασία της οικοδόμησης μίας σχέσης εμπιστοσύνης με τον εργοδότη, η οποία αποτελεί και όπλο για την καταπολέμηση της προκατάληψης.

«Με ενδιαφέρει να καταλάβω πώς οι άνθρωποι οι οποίοι πέρασαν από τη δύσκολη διαδικασία της απεξάρτησης μπορούν να ξαναμπούν στην αγορά εργασίας. Είμαι διατεθειμένος -και σε αυτή την κατεύθυνση κινούμαστε- να δώσουμε πολύ πιο ελκυστικά κίνητρα στους εργοδότες», ανέφερε ο Πρωθυπουργός, προσθέτοντας ότι μία σταθερή δουλειά δεν εγγυάται μόνον ένα εισόδημα αλλά προσφέρει παράλληλα την ικανοποίηση της παραγωγικής συνεισφοράς στην κοινωνία.

Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο, η κυβέρνηση έχει ήδη μεριμνήσει ώστε ο ΟΑΕΔ να αυξήσει στο 90%, από το 70%, το ποσοστό επιδότησης του συνολικού κόστους απασχόλησης για επιχειρήσεις που προσλαμβάνουν υπαλλήλους που ανήκουν σε ευπαθείς κοινωνικές ομάδες. Επιπλέον, μεταξύ άλλων, έχει αυξηθεί το μέγιστο ποσό μηνιαίας επιχορήγησης από τα 700 στα 800 ευρώ για θέσεις πλήρους απασχόλησης, και από τα 350 ευρώ στα 400 για μερικό ωράριο.

Στο μέτωπο της πρόληψης, οι συμμετέχοντες στον διάλογο δήλωσαν ότι υπάρχουν κενά. Πρότειναν την ανάπτυξη δημιουργικών δραστηριοτήτων, αθλητικών και πολιτιστικών, ήδη από τα σχολικά χρόνια, χωρίς να παραβλέπονται μέτρα για την έγκαιρη ενημέρωση και ευαισθητοποίηση των νέων, ούτε οι ψυχολογικές πιέσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν οι έφηβοι.

Ένας τεράστιος προσωπικός αγώνας

Ο Πρωθυπουργός υπογράμμισε την αμιγώς ανθρώπινη διάσταση της απεξάρτησης, καθώς κάθε εξαρτημένος δίνει τεράστιο προσωπικό αγώνα για να νικήσει τα ναρκωτικά, αναφέροντας ότι το κουράγιο των ανθρώπων που ξεπέρασαν τεράστιες δυσκολίες πρέπει να «αναδειχθεί ως παράδειγμα προς μίμηση». Σημείωσε ακόμα ότι το σχολείο πράγματι αποτελεί χώρο που πρέπει να προσφέρει ποικίλα ερεθίσματα στους μαθητές του, καλύπτοντας την πρόληψη εξαρτήσεων, και στο πλαίσιο αυτής της φιλοσοφίας η διδακτική ύλη διευρύνεται πλέον με νέες θεματικές ενότητες.

Στο τέλος της συζήτησης τονίστηκε η σημασία να φανούν απτά αποτελέσματα, με τον Πρωθυπουργό να δεσμεύεται ότι η σημερινή κυβέρνηση και ο ίδιος προσωπικά δεν θα μείνουν στα λόγια, ώστε να μειωθούν τα θύματα των εξαρτήσεων. «Δεν είμαι σε αυτή τη δουλειά για το “θεαθήναι”, μου αρέσει να λύνω προβλήματα», είπε, και πρόσθεσε ότι είναι αποφασισμένος να διορθώσει αστοχίες του παρελθόντος.

«Επιμένω ότι δουλειά μας είναι πρωτίστως να είμαστε πιο κοντά σε αυτούς οι οποίοι έχουν τη μεγαλύτερη ανάγκη», είπε ο Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης, ο οποίος ήδη από τα Χριστούγεννα του 2018 είχε αρχίσει έναν κύκλο επαφών με ανθρώπους που ακολουθούν ή έχουν ολοκληρώσει προγράμματα απεξάρτησης από ναρκωτικά, ώστε να τους γνωρίσει και να ακούσει τις ιστορίες τους.

Στη συζήτηση έλαβαν μέρος πρώην χρήστες που ολοκληρώνουν προγράμματα του ΚΕΘΕΑ, τα οποία βασίζονται στην αποχή από κάθε ψυχοτρόπο ουσία, και μέλη του Δικτύου Ομότιμων Χρηστών Ψυχοδραστικών Ουσιών, το οποίο υποστηρίζει τη χορήγηση υποκατάστατων φαρμακευτικών ουσιών. Ο Πρωθυπουργός τόνισε ότι δεν υπάρχει διάκριση υπέρ της μίας ή της άλλης οδού εφόσον παράγουν αποτελέσματα και δεδομένου ότι κάθε άνθρωπος έχει διαφορετικές ανάγκες.
